I'm in Tampa!

It's hot, there's palm trees, there's a beach (well, nearby), and there's all these hot baseball players all over town!

I may say baseball is boring as all get out, and basketball players are hotter, but right now, with how freaking screwy my bracket is (Butler? Really? Butler?), I'm kind of mad at basketball so maybe I'll become a baseball girl.

Or maybe I'll just be one for the next couple of days when I have none other than Mr. Logan Bruno who's game I'll be seeing tomorrow and who's apartment I'll be sleeping at the next two nights (taking advantage of my Delta-purchased hotel room tonight cause, god, does his apartment suck), and who's promised to introduce me to his hot single teammates.

I'm particularly eying Mr. First Baseman.

I have eight of these printed out. I'm in four bracket tournaments, one with work, one with church (god, I love a church that'll allow kinda-gambling), one for our building, and one that's just me and Mitch (and I'm going to kick his butt at it this year, I swear)

So right now it's strategy time. I'm doing a practice one for each tournament, penciling in names and stuff til I have what I like, then I'll fill out the real entry one in ink. I'm going different on each of my four, but I can't figure out just where to change up, and I haven't been able to settle on an overall champion, and... ugh. Life is so confusing right now!

I think I'm pulling for Kentucky.

I went running today, it felt so good. God, I love Central Park. The running trails are killer and you get to see all these entertaining crazies while you're out. I do kind of miss having someone to run with though. Having Stevie Wonder blaring out of my ipod is a totally fab companion and all, but he can't hold a candle to a real person. Wonder if I could talk Allie into running with me?

I've got decent flights this week, thank the Lord. I'm even going to Vancouver, so I'm really hoping I get some hottie Olympians on my flight, or at least get to see them at the airport. Bode Miller better watch himself if I'm on the plane with him, that's all I'm saying.

And we are just about to March which means March Madness which means that I'm loving life even more than I love it the other eleven months of the year. So far, I know of three bracket tournaments I can be in, not counting the one that's just me and Mitch battling it out.

My life pretty much rocks.

I'm in freaking Des Moines. Who goes to these places, seriously?

Good news is, my flight back isn't til the afternoon, so guess who's hitting up the bar? Naomi and Beth are both here with me tonight, which, thank god, cause I couldn't handle Des Moines if I didn't have my two favorite girls from work with me.

I love my job, I really do.

Except when I have to go to Des Moines.
